Beyond Protection: The Art of Ceramic Coating
Discover the transformative power of ceramic coating at Ray'z Auto Detail. We go beyond the ordinary, providing your vehicle with unparalleled protection and a showroom-worthy shine. Join us as we delve into the world of ceramic coating and how it can benefit your car.

Understanding Ceramic Coating
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer specifically designed to bond with your vehicle’s clear coat at the molecular level, creating a durable, protective layer. Unlike traditional waxes that merely sit on the surface and wear off quickly, ceramic coatings offer superior, long-lasting protection along with a glossy, showroom-like finish. This process enhances your car’s appearance with a mirror-like, wet look, while also providing exceptional resistance against environmental contaminants.

The Ray'z Auto Detail Difference
The application process is meticulous but well worth the investment. It starts with a thorough exterior wash and towel drying to remove surface dirt. Next, I perform a clay bar treatment on the entire vehicle to lift embedded contaminants, ensuring a pristine surface for the ceramic coating to bond with. After the clay bar treatment, I rewash the vehicle and towel dry it again to ensure absolute cleanliness. Finally, the ceramic coating is carefully applied by hand. At Rayz Auto Detail, we use a premium nano-ceramic coating that, with proper care, can protect your vehicle for 2 to 10 years.

Do's and Don'ts After Ceramic Coating
The after care of your ceramic coating plays a big role! To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of your ceramic coating, follow these simple maintenance steps:
- wash your vehicle every 2-3 weeks to maintain the cars hydroprobic properties and to prevent build-up.
- wash ONLY with a pH balanced shampoo formulated specificly for ceramic coatings. (The bottle should have it indicated clearly on the label)
- use a 2-bucket method to prevent any swirls or scratch marks
- Do dry your car after washing with a microfiber towel to help prevent water spots
- avoid harsh chemicals
- Dont wash your car in direct sunlight, as to this would cause hard water spots and dried soap residue
- Avoid going to automatic car washes, for they use rough brushes that can damage the ceramic coating by scratching into it. And they use harsher chemicals.
